#TGIF: TRY THIS EASY HOLIDAY COCKTAIL
I got my my nails and toe nails painted in the perfect shade of holiday red (which I found out is the OPI Big Apple Red) yesterday so, it’s official, the holidays have arrived. Maybe it’s because i’m a December baby, or that i’m hosting Christmas dinner at home for the first time. Regardless, I am in full holiday mode.
Could I also be trying to over compensate for the lack of snow. I think my solution to global warming is to add more holiday cheer to my home. What’s wrong with that? So yes, I will continue to clutter your feed with holiday cheer. #sorrynotsorry
Today’s solution to global warming is this simple peppermint champagne cocktail from Freutcake:
Peppermint White Christmas Champagne Cocktail
1 bottle chilled Champagne
White Creme de Cocoa
1. In a ziplock bag, crush 1 whole candy cane with a rolling-pin or something sturdy until you are left with a semi fine powder.
2. Dip the rims of your champagne flutes in a small dish of White Creme de Cocoa and then in the crushed candy cane.
3. Fill champagne glasses 1/3 full with White Creme de Cocoa and then the rest of the way with chilled Champagne.
4. Garnish with a whole candy cane. (this adds color and flavor to the cocktail!)
5. Sip & enjoy.
All jokes aside, let’s help Canada get it’s snow back and fight against global warming now:
